How can I watch WORLD Channel?

There are a number of options for watching WORLD's programs:

  • For TELEVISION VIEWING, find your local WORLD station by setting your station.

A) If you've already confirmed your station, go to your local WORLD Schedule for channel number and search for programs.

B) If you haven't confirmed your station, click on 'Set Station' to the right of the WORLD logo in the upper left and confirm. Go to your local WORLD Schedule for channel number and search for programs.

  • For ONLINE VIEWING or if there is no local WORLD station available in your area, you can watch a selection of programs on our website via desktop and mobile. You can also stream WORLD content on the PBS app via Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Roku.

I watched a film on WORLD and would like to watch it again. What are my options?

There are a number of options for watching our films after their broadcast:

A) If you would like to watch an encore broadcast on television, check your local WORLD Schedule to see if the film will be re-broadcast.

B) If the full-length film is available, stream it on our website. Click on Watch, sort if necessary, and browse through our selection to find the film you are looking for.

I am outside of the US and cannot watch the videos on your website. Why? And where can I access WORLD Channel content?

Unfortunately, most of our films are geo-blocked to the US and territories. However, here are some alternative ways that you can view WORLD content online:
